Thank you for your interest in Bön Shen Ling. We wish to establish a Bön Shen Ling Retreat Center with a temple in the United States to direct our projects. We need enthusiastic help and support for this center and the following projects:
- Printing a transcribed version of the Bön Canon.
The Bön Canon contains 180 books that Bön Shen Ling will make available for the first public distribution in August 2009. We are near our target goal of $ 200,000 for this project. The entire collection, in its first English rendition, may be purchased for $ 5,000 or $30 a book. We are in correspondence with University libraries across the nation for the proliferation of Bön Literature for scholastic and spiritual study. If you can recommend a print shop or may be able to contribute to this project, please contact us. - Acquiring land and funding for a Bön Shen Ling Retreat Center in the USA.
Our goal is to raise $ 3,000,000. - Acquiring land and funding for a Bön Vocational Training Center in India or Nepal.
- Acquiring land and funding for a Bön Culture Center/School in Mongolia.
- Bön Shen Ling Children’s Sponsorship Project in Tibet, Mongolia, India, and Nepal.
Your sponsorships will directly provide for higher education to Bön children refugees in Asia. We encourage a year sponsorship for a child and appreciate 6–month sponsorships, joint sponsorships (two people per child), or any one–time donations.
Bön Shen Ling is a 501(C)(3) not–for–profit, tax–exempt organization based in the United States and incorporated in Pennsylvania in May, 2007. Our tax ID number is EIN: 20-5292041.
